This is a report by Al-Jazeera english. Al-Jazeera airs many relevant stories you can’t see anywhere else, but unfortunately if you live in the west you probably can’t see it. You are a victim of censorship.
What they fail to mention in the report is the fact that the Philippine Marine convoy that was attacked by the MILF had broken the peace treaty when it entered into the area where attacked, and in fact became a hostile force entering into an area they had agreed not to enter. The MILF were defending themselves from an invading military force, and now the Philippine govt. wants revenge? It makes you wonder if the whole thing was done on purpose to give the Philippine army an excuse to start the conflict up again, and probably under the direction of the U.S.. The U.S. can never leave Muslims alone to govern themselves.

260 Innocent Civilians Martyred In Horrific American Slaughter In Helmand
At 4.30 pm yesterday, the American enemy bombed a huge gathering of civilians at a tourist spot in the Baghran district of Helmand province. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 260 civilians instantly and 88 others were seriously injured. This area is considered a recreation spot like the BabaSahib area in Kandahar province and the area of Mihtarlam Baba in the Laghman province. It is widely known that this area is always storming with visitors on Thursday and Friday each week, a fact that gives evidence that this slaughter was intentional and the American enemy performed it without prior notice.
The NATO criminal forces claimed that the Mujahideen were going to perform a Qisas (execution) verdict on one of the people in that area. This is a baseless lie that gives senseless excuses to the common people and the media reports that do not have any truth concerning this frightful slaughter and apparent transgression on innocent civilians. In this area, there was not even a single Mujahid nor was the Qisas verdict executed on anyone. No foreign or Afghan puppet forces have entered this area for three years, so why would the Mujahideen attack them there?
Large groups of civilians were transferred to the hospitals in the neighboring Kandahar province. Reporters haven’t been permitted to talk to them and they are under heavy guard by the enemy in order to prevent them making the truth if this slaughter known. This monstrous bombing of the civilians occurred at a time when the whole world is weeping over the destiny of 21 Korean captives held with us saying these captives are innocent. But they themselves kill everyday 100 of our citizens and paralyze others, most of them from the women and children… and this is the best example of it.

Hmmm and this isn’t happening in “non-Muslim” countries? In the past 2 weeks alone 2 young females in my city have been gunned downed by gangs. So much for the US being a civilized country. You make the assumption that this is a civilized country and your assumption could not be further from the truth. Everyday hundreds if not thousands die in this country because of hatred and ignorance. Maybe if we had true consequences for these actions commited it would be different. But if there were true consequences it would not be “the land of the free”. I sure do not feel free, can you honestly say that you do? Muslim Spain: A Story of Civilization and Tolerance

To appreciate Prince Charles’ remark, we mention the following brief story for those who may not be aware of the Muslim rule in Spain.
Muslims conquered Spain in 711 AD and ruled it for about 800 years. These Spanish Arabs later became known as the “Moors”. When Europe was still going through the “Dark Ages”, the Moors established a golden civilization of science and culture. One historian remarks,
“The Moors organized that wonderful kingdom of Cordova, which was the marvel of the Middle Ages, and which, when all Europe was plunged in barbaric ignorance and strife, alone held the torch of learning and civilization bright and shinning before the Western world.”
Cordova (Arabic Kurtuba) was the capital of that civilization. This city was ten miles long with a twenty-four-mile suburb and a million population (almost twice the current population of Washington, DC) . It is said that it had 60,000 palaces and mansions, 200,000 houses, 80,000 shops, 3,800 mosques and 700 public baths. Among many libraries, the largest was the Imperial Library of the Emir containing 400,000 books. The city’s University of Cordova was famous which attracted students from all over the world. There were many free elementary schools for the poor. A historian remarks,
“In Spain almost everybody knew how to read and write, whilst in Christian Europe, save and except the clergy, even persons belonging to the highest ranks were wholly ignorant.”
Religious tolerance is another shinning example that these Spanish Muslims established. Christians and Jews flourished under their rule. As a matter of fact, the Jews had their cultural renaissance while they lived in Spain under Muslim rule.
The last remnant of Muslim rule in Spain was finally vanquished in 1492 by a combined force of Ferdinand and Isabella. What followed then was a dark chapter in the history of Spain. Muslims and Jews were massacred and driven out of Spain. It was then that the infamous “Spanish Inquisition” was established by the Church to crush the “infidels”. They were forced to change religion or burnt to death. No one was spared, not even the children. Changing religion was not enough – they were forced to transform into being Spanish:
“The infidels were ordered to abandon their picturesque costume, and to assume the hat and breeches of their conquerors, to renounce their language, their costumes and ceremonies, even their very names, and to speak Spanish, behave Spanishly, and re-name themselves Spaniards.”
It is interesting to note that the Spanish Christians were against bathing and washing. They must have been angry at the building of the public bathing places by the Muslims. In order to “reform” these Arabs, they ruled that “neither themselves, their women, nor any other persons, should be permitted to wash or bathe themselves either at home or elsewhere; and that all their bathing-houses should be pulled down and destroyed.”
It is also extra-ordinary to see that the tolerance that the Muslims showed to other religious communities was considered an offense by the Church. The Archbishop of Valencia in recommending the expulsion of the Muslims from Spain writes, “[the Moors] commended nothing so much as that liberty of conscience in all matters of religion, which the Turks, and all other Mohammedans, suffer their subjects to enjoy.”
And so a golden period in the history of Spain came to an end. The glow of that golden era was still visible for a while under the rule of Ferdinand and Isabella but it was soon exhausted and Spain went back to darkness. Historian Stanley Lane Poole writes,
“The Moors were banished; for a while Christian Spain shone, like the moon, with a borrowed light; then came the eclipse, and in that darkness Spain has groveled ever since. The true memorial of the Moors is seen in desolate tracts of utter barrenness, where once the Moors grew luxuriant vines and olives and yellow ears of corn; in a stupid, ignorant population where once wit and learning flourished; in the general stagnation and degradation of a people which has hopelessly fallen in the scale of nations, and has deserved its humiliation.”
Such is the story of Spain. The lesson we take from this is the lesson that the Prince of Wales has taken: a shinning example of science and civilization, and tolerance, and not the example of the dark period that followed.

We are totally disgraced and being tromped on by the forces of disbelief left and right. Islam brings man out of the servitude of man and into the service God. Because of our leaving Islam God has removed Islam from us. We have rulers like Hosni Mubarak in Egypt where the Islamic law has been thrown away for the inferior man made laws and constitution. Where unjust military courts decide and arbitrary detentions take place. Where Muslims rights are violated at every possible moment and opportunity. Where Muslim dissenters are tortured and thrown in prisons by the 100’s of thousands. It goes on and on. But, of course Hosni Mubarak and his party are friends of the West and especially America receiving the second biggest aid package in the world from America. Do the people see that money? That money is bribes paid to the dictatorial regime of Mubarak. From the top on down they have big Swiss bank accounts. Oppression isn’t free it comes with a price. And for what? So they can say that Egypt is at peace with Israel and that they can keep the Muslims out of the picture. Every living breathing Muslim man woman and child cannot accept the barbaric criminal state of Israel no matter how much they pay. Are my words hateful? I don’t think so. We don’t hate Jews or Christians or anyone else. We hate injustice and oppression whether committed by Jews, Christians or so called Muslims.
It’s not just Egypt but everyone of the states within the so called Islamic world has an oppressor of Islam within its fake borders being paid by the West and good friends of the West. You think we want their likes? When we try to get rid of them by the man made system called democracy being championed by America that don’t work either. Because America don’t want democracy for us. They expect their friends to win in a democracy, but they never do. The Muslims elect Islamic parties and the U.S. and the losers refuse to accept the results. They don’t respect the wishes of the people. It has happened in Algeria, Pakistan, Egypt, and Palestine to name a few. By not accepting the outcome of free and fair elections the U.S. are hypocrites. Still we don’t blame anyone but ourselves for this tragedy. The disbelievers are just doing what they do best, that is mischief. Some people don’t have fear of God and don’t believe they will return to him to answer what they have done, so they don’t mind making worldly gains at the expense of others. But it is this injustice that Islam forbids and they know it. Thats why they are always trying to suppress Islam. It has been this way throughout the history of man, some want to exploit others for their own gain.
True Muslims want their country restored and ruled by the laws of God the most high. We cannot accept anything less because to choose man made ways over the way prescribed by God would be disbelief and no Muslim wants to die in that state. We want to get rid of all of the fake borders from Spain to The Philippines and be left alone to live in peace and justice God willing.
So Flanny, The state we are in is our own fault and praise be to God that the Muslims are awakening to this fact and are coming back to Islam and many people all over the world are coming to Islam. All those evil things like dictators, highnesses, clitorectomys, honor killings, illeteracy and backwardness that you attribute to Islam are not in Islam. That is what you are failing to admit, and what I am tired of writing. Everytime you write a falsehood regarding Islam I feel that I should correct it for the benefit of those that also don’t know, otherwise maybe someone else will read it and continue to spread the lie, and spreading falsehood is not what I am trying to do here. You either don’t read what I write or don’t believe it. If you don’t believe it then tell me why you don’t believe it. If you really want to know what Islam is read about the life of Gods final messenger to man, Muhammad may Gods peace be upon him. Read a real account of his life and it don’t even have to be written by a Muslim, but if you read something from Robert Spencer or Pat Robertson you can assume it is biased. You can even read about Muslim history after his death to see how Islam and the Islamic world flourished in every way economically, socially, morally, technologically, and in education. Thats what we want to bring back to the world God willing.

Honestly, Afghanistan is and was a hell hole way before the Taliban. After decades of war and almost no economy it will be difficult for anyone Taliban or U.S. to make life better there. The Taliban did make big improvements in some areas with almost no funds and were forced to use money in some areas and leave some projects for later.
The truth is that the Taliban brought peace to Afghanistan after decades of war and got rid of the criminal gangs. From 1995-2000 the Taliban eliminated poppy cultivation, criminal gangs, harassment of women, and all kinds of lude activity plaguing Afghanistan at the time. They set up training centers to teach women to be doctors and only God knows what else they will achieve in the future. Thats why the people are crying for their return, including the women. Most of Karzai’s ministers and security forces are either drug lords, smugglers, common criminals or gangsters. The people cannot even travel in Afghanistan today without paying bribes at each of the many check posts.

The executions in “civilized” countries don’t count. After all those women were either fried or were given a coctail of lethal drugs. This is after millions of tax payers dollars are wasted and they’ve used all of their appeals. You still have women that kill that are never executed. Instead they are provided with food and medical care for the rest of their lives. You have women like Susan Smith and Andrea Yates who kill their children that I personally would do the same thing they did to their children to them. Only in cases like Susan Smith I’d strap her back in that car and keep her underwater until the last possible minute, pull her out and let her get a breath of air and do it repeatedly before I killed her.

Flanny you must have been dropped on your head at birth. Why else do sick people kill their children if they do not enjoy it? What about people like Peewee Gaskins? They came from what you view as the civilized world. I personally believe an eye for an eye and any woman that kills her children to try to get a man really deserves to be treated with as little respect and concern that she treated her children with. I don’t see why I have to pay for this woman to have better medical care then I get or why I have to pay for her to get an education. All of her rights should be terminated. Instead she ended up pregnant while in jail. That is your version of the civilized world though isn’t it?

I don’t think so. They’ve done several evaluations on her, she is as sane as you are. Almost everyone in prison now for killing tries the mentally ill approach. It’s amazing they are sane enough to live their lives until they do kill someone. It’s a cop out and it looks bad on the people with true problems. Actually Flanny the problem is that after you are proven wrong on one point then you change to another point, and I get tired of doing the research for you when you can do it yourself.
